Kao is a Japanese word that means “puff” or “face”. It’s basically a little sphere with facial features — but NO arms/legs — floating in the air. Please note that a full-body character with a floating head is NOT a kao and it should be drawn in one of the other rooms, depending on the subject (the Training Grounds is perfect for such characters.
