What is a Juvenile Trial Judging Report?

A Juvenile Trial Judging Report is requested by the candidate when he/she trial judges a Juvenile or higher competitive event (with a minimum of eight (8) entries) and receives a report from the referee on the panel or another qualified judge. This report must be requested prior to the event. It is a good idea to ask the Technical Representative if you are able to trial judge so that they can get you a copy of the Judges Personal Record (JPR) sheet with the names of the skaters in the event. Once the event is complete, photocopy your JPR along with the protocol (final result) of the event. Please give those forms along with the Trial Judge Report Form to the referee or judge. These reports can be done at Sectionals, Thunder Bay Open, Make it a Date or Lets Skate. Please make sure that the referee gets all the information required along with a self-addressed stamped 8 1/2 X 11 envelope.
