What is a JSC?

JSC is the acronym for Juvenile Services Coordinator. This individual is the case manager of juvenile offenders placed with contract providers and participates in pre-commitment staffings. This responsibility includes monitoring service plans and progress reports and sharing with family, community, courts, and with other Department employees. Juvenile Services Coordinator assumes the role of reintegration case manager while juvenile offenders are in Department custody. Your child’s Juvenile Services Coordinator is who you contact for questions and concerns, if your child has been placed with a contract provider.
