joip or IP line calls support two types of numbers. • A joip number is a special 10 digit number (preceded by a # sign) that you use to call other GLOBARANGE phones (ex. #0123456789). This type of dialling works through the IP button on the base or handset. The joip number does not involve extra charges and is given free to Panasonic GLOBARANGE phone owners for 3 years from date of setup. • If you have a subscription to advanced joip services you can get a second landline number through joip. This allows you to make and receive traditional landline calls over your Internet connection (ex. 1 416 555 5555).
