What is a job for 12 year olds ?
My twelve-year-old step son just started mowing yards this summer. He only has three yards he mows as we want him to focus on school and his extra curricular activities and not a job yet. But, he is interested in saving money so we also spread the word in our neighborhood that he’s interested in earning money and will do odd jobs. Almost weekly a neighbor will call and ask for yard help, dog walking, mowing, raking leaves, garage cleaning, washing cars, etc. A lot of the time he won’t even ask for money and just does it to be nice and neighborly, but usually the neighbor is happy to give him a few dollars.
