What is a job developer?
Job developers are trained staff who will assist you in finding employment. Depending on your needs they may go out and speak with employers on your behalf, or go with you to apply for jobs. If necessary, the job developer will speak to employers about possible incentives such as a work tryout, or on the job training. Job developers will also educate the employer about your disability if an accommodation is needed at work.
