What is a Insulated Concrete Form or ICF?
ICF’s are a foam block (like a Lego) that get stacked together to build a foundation or entire house. Concrete gets poured inside these foam blocks. The result is an incredibly strong, quiet and energy efficient structure. The foam blocks have fastening strips embedded every 6″ on center for fastening of sheetrock, siding or anything you would normally fasten to a wall.
