What is a hybrid course?
A Hybrid Course combines face-to-face classroom instruction with electronic online devices. A significant amount of learning in a hybrid course occurs online. As a result, hybrid courses reduce the amount of classroom seat time, but possess the same workload as a non-hybrid course. For more information regarding standard and hybrid classes, please reference the Hybrid Courses Fact Sheet or visit: http://www.drexel.edu/coas/engphil/online.asp.
A hybrid course is a course that meets partially online and partially in the classroom on campus. For example: Traditionally a class might meet on Monday and Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The hybrid version of the course might meet only on Monday, the Wednesday segment of the class would be online activities.
