What is a Host ID and what is a License File?

When you launch each program for the first time after installing it, you will be presented with a dialog box that gives a multi-digit number. This is your Host ID. Write down this number and contact Quest Reliability, LLC by telephone, fax, or email and we will provide you with a corresponding License File to put in the program folder. Once you have correctly placed the file in the folder, the program will be authorized for your subsquent use. Note that you will be required to do this only once per year (when your license is renewed), unless you transfer the license to another computer or your hard drive crashes. If you choose not to renew your maintenance when it expires, you will be able to continue using the program, but you will not be authorized to use versions created after your license expiration date.
