With a huge jump in demand for computers and computer-related careers over the last decades, it is no surprise that there are plenty of high-paying computer careers. What is a bit surprising, however, is the variety of careers available. Some careers are appropriate for inventors or artists, while others are great for business-minded and analytical thinkers. Computer and Information Systems Manager The computer and information systems manager works in a variety of settings. The systems manager is responsible for ensuring the reliability of computer systems for large corporations, hospitals, school systems and governments. Additionally, the systems manager is responsible for traditional management tasks. To attain a high-paying career as a computer and information systems manager, a bachelor’s degree is required.
