What is a healthy diet plan for a day?
The key to starting a successful diet plan is to make the changes slowly. You can’t go from eating garbage everyday to eating healthy overnight. The changes required to do something like that are huge and should be spread out over a period of time. If you make the changes too quickly, your body won’t have time to adjust and you’ll probably quit before seeing any results. At first, you shouldn’t worry about your calorie count. When you start replacing unhealthy junk with healthy alternatives your calorie count will naturally be reduced because healthy choices are generally lower in calories than unhealthy ones. Start by reducing the amount of junk you eat (chips, cookies, pastries, doughnuts, soda, sugary drinks). Replace unhealthy snacks with nuts, fruits, salads and yogurt. You can then start getting rid of products made from refined flour such as white bread/pasta. Replace these with foods made from 100% whole wheat flour (check the nutrition label). You need to get on a healthy diet, and keep it as a life style. Eat around 1500 calories a day, avoid white bread, white pasta, white rice anything processed, don`t eat deep fried things, stick to a lot of veggies and fruits. Have at least 3 meals a day. If you like milk, drink low fat milk, low fat yogurt low fat everything. Cut all sugar from your diet, and I mean all of it! The only sweet things you can eat are fruits, and maybe some honey yogurt (but put the honey in it yourself, don`t buy it already made). Excercise daily, you don`t have to kill yourself through effort, a good 30 -60 minutes fast walk will help you lose weight. And if you stick to your gym, maybe go 3 times a week, you`re sure to get results.
