What is a HAWHAW proxy?
HAWHAW proxy retrieves HAWHAW XML files from remote webservers and performs an “on-the-fly” conversion into a format, which is optimized for the requesting browser. The HAWHAW proxy is located between the requesting browser and the HAWHAW XML webserver. URL’s entered at the user’s browser consist of two components: The leading part, which addresses the proxy. And the trailing part, which tells the proxy where the remote HAWHAW XML file is located.
