What is a Guideposts for Kids Comfort Kit?
In 2006, Guideposts Outreach in collaboration with Chaplain Anna Gentile from the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital created the Comfort Kit to spiritually support and address the alarming growth of children being treated for illness and injury. The Guideposts for Kids Comfort Kit is a spiritual resource containing carefully selected items that speak to a child’s comfort, renewal and spiritual well being. It is specifically designed to help children cope with hospital visits, treatments and the uncertainty of their condition.
