What is a Group Home for troubled teens?
A group home is a place where a group of teenagers live under the constant supervision of adult staff members. They are a non secure facility where these teens live and receive different services to help them overcome their problems. These group homes put emphasis on family living; they also try to create an atmosphere that is similar to being at home. Most of the teens that are in a group home have been ordered to go there by a court system. But this is not true for all teens that find themselves in a group home.
