What is a “Green Business”, and how does one become certified?
The Association for Bay Area Governments Green Business Certification has established voluntary guidelines that help businesses and other organizations not only comply with environmental regulations but to actually improve beyond them. A certified “green business” goes several steps beyond just compliance with regulations. Santa Clara County has organized this program for our county and Palo Alto has partnered with the County.
