You may audit institute classes (sit in on classes but not hand in assignments or get credit) or take them for credit. Affiliates of the institute are not permitted to take classes for credit, but may audit. Students who choose to take a class for credit may choose either the “Credit/No Credit” grading basis or the “Letter Grade” basis. Those who choose a Letter Grade will be given a grade (A, B, C, etc.) at the end of the course, whereas those who choose Credit/No Credit will either receive credit or not for the work they have done in the course.
