What is a Grade Point Average (GPA) and how is it calculated?
A cumulative grade point average is calculated as an indicator of a students overall academic performance in a program and is used as a criterion for graduation requirements or other academic distinction. Be aware that continuing education courses taken prior to admission to the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing will be counted as transfer credits (CRT) and therefore will NOT be factored into your Program GPA calculation. Only courses taken following admission will be counted in your Program GPA calculation. For detailed information, consult Grade Point Averages.
