What is a good wedding cake?
Definitely the vanilla pound cake. Here’s why. Seriously, no one hates pound cake. Its so good, yet light and rich and fluffy, all at the same time. Especially with ice cream (which would be awesome if you can pull it off – I’ve never seen ice cream at a wedding). Please make sure you have some whipped cream too! Oh yum…I really want some now. Chocolate, not everyone likes. I know that sounds crazy. Especially to me because I’m a chocoholic, but there are some people out there who do not like chocolate. Weird. And, to prove that I’m weird too, I cannot stand fruit. I get really ticked off when people put fruit on their wedding cakes. Ugh. I don’t even like things touching fruit and I *really* look forward to the cake at weddings. So, my vote is for the vanilla pound cake. Then, I would do a chocolate grooms cake with (maybe) some icky fruit on the side 🙂 I haven’t decided on my cake yet.
