What is a good website for seeing deck/patio ideas?
We are looking for ideas as well and though we do our own very well, I thought I would check out options. Not much out there online. Lots of pretty pictures but nothing that talked to us. We found the best thing is to get contractor quotes on options and have started that process. Quotes are free so you have no upfront costs. We also have picked up many patio/balcony/deck book designs from Home Depot. That probably has given us the best ideas and options of all. If you are good at construction, they also show how to build them which is a plus. My husband is an engineer and has built our decks in the past but we are looking at stone decks as well and this isn’t something that comes easily to a novice in stone. So my suggestion is to pick up some of these books, look at styles and options and then get quotes from at least three landscapers that can do any of the options. Ask your neighbors who they have used if you see some decks and patios you like in your neighborhood. That is always a
