What is a good way to raise money to the starving children in Africa?
I wasn’t going to respond, since “how to raise money” is a frequently asked questions on Yahoo Answers and you can go into the resolved section and see all of the many things that have been suggested. But the previous poster who said “50 odd years on and nothing has changed” is so wrong, and I wanted to make sure she didn’t discourage you from doing this activity. The famine is a nice idea only if you use the experience to educate others. You could keep a journal about what it’s like to be hungry, what your thoughts are, etc., and post about it on your my space blog, along with links to organizations like the World Food Programme which are helping to feed people in developing countries (and to help those people feed themselves). You could post statistics about hunger as well — what countries have the most children who are malnurished? What are some anti-hunger success stories?
