What is a good way of cleaning my computer with around the house stuff?
They make cans of pressurized air that are great for cleaning the keyboard of your computer. You press the button and gently blow away dust and other crumbs and stuff that gets in-between the keys. I also use a very gentle fox-tail (a soft hand-held broom) to gently dust off and clean the keyboard. They make little wipes that are great for the screen, or you can use a very soft paper towel, spray it with a little windex, and using the now-moist towel gently wipe the screen. I like to take the towel and then very gently wipe down the keyboard. Sometimes I just flip my open laptop upside-down on my lap and gently shake or bounce it to get some of the loose debris out.
