What is a good way for a sprained ankle to heal faster?

Actually this is my way of healing a sprain ankle and yes it has worked for me because I have sprained my ankle before. 1) for the first few days rest it and apply cold/heat. 2) Start walking but use light pressure when you use the foot with the sprained ankle. 3) Casually begin to walk without much of a limp, but do not walk fast or vigorously until you feel the time is right. 4) Once you can walk normally being mild excercise like a little bit of jogging (even around the house) 5) Try to get outside and have a good excercise. Start slow and cautious and move your level up. 6) As long as you start slow and work your way up… having excercise-at a certain extent- can help heal your ankle! PS drink tons of milk and hope this helps!
