Most pople would think of Anne Rice in this case. I have to honestly tell you that I have yet to read one of her books, but, of course, she does have a great reputation, so they must be fabulous! I can tell you about those that I have, indeed, read. First of all, let me point out that some writers, like Stephenie Meyer, write vampire books aimed at the young adult market. Others write for adults. I have found that there’s a big difference between the two camps, in one important area — sex. The young adult books will tend to have fewer or no graphic sex scenes (as is true of The Twilight Saga), while the adult books will usually have them, in varying degrees of graphic detail. I first started reading vampire romance novels written for adults, and the authors I have read do include sex scenes in their books. Again, the detail varies per author.
