What is a good thesis statement for fashion in the 1950s?
I don’t know, lets see what was going on in the fifties, Post war, baby boomers, after math of stock, crash,segregation, lynching,red wave(fear of Communism), Pre war, National intelligence secrets were sold,spying, Arms race, Russian threat. So I would have to say Veteran money was flowing, The American dream was being purchased for many who were sons of immigrants,we were paranoid of the red wave for good reason, women were working and fighting to continue to work after the men came home. I don’t know how do you congeal this info into a statement.What comes to mind is I CAN DO IT TOO. I can have the American dream, I can work along with men, I am capable, and competent.
