What is a good tennis racquet for a junior championship level player?

It all depends on the strength of your son. The new K-Factor racquets by Wilson are good, if he can handle their weight (they weigh anywhere from 10.6-12.3 oz.) If that isn’t a good fit for him, the Prince o3 series is good, because they have lots of different models and styles for him. Finally, Babolot is another good choice; they have 4 rackets that I know about: red, the pure control; blue, the pure drive; orange, the pure storm; and there are two yellow ones: one is the Aeropro drive, which is what Rafael Nadal uses; the other is the pure storm MP, which stands for midplus. Hope this is of help!

The Prince O3 series are very light and have a lot of power too. I am starting tournaments soon and I have the Prince O3 Hybrid Royal OS. It is a great racquet. Racquets like the Wilson K Factors and Babolat Aero Pro Drive are very nice, but are heavy. Some K Factors are light though. If he likes Babolats, there are lighter ones like the Drive Z Lite and the VS NCT Tour. He might want to get the strings restrung to a lower tension if he needs extra power. Try going to a pro-shop for advice, and even demoing racquets. Also try going to the websites in the sources. Hope I helped.

I wouldn’t waste my money to buy my son a lame light racket to kill his arm and ruin his dreams if I were you. I would be a horrible mother if I did that now wouldn’t I? Anyway, The Wilson [K]Factor rackets are BAD! 5 out of 12 of them are good for your arm, not a good percentage… 2 out of 5 O3 Speedports are okay for the arm, 0 out of 3 Ozone rackets are good, and there are a lot of different varieties of O3 rackets, but if I count the different head sizes as different rackets, then out of 14 rackets, only 5 are good, 6 in the danger zone or in the high danger zone, and 3 are absolutely bad for the arm. These aren’t very good numbers. And rackets that are overly heavy aren’t known to cause injury, they are known to cause fatigue. Overly light rackets are known to cause injury, idiot. *Do NOT get a lightweight racket. *Do NOT get a head heavy racket. *Do NOT get a stiff racket. *Get something above 11 ounces, and throw lead tape on it, EVEN IF HE IS A KID! Kids used to use 15 ounce r
