Lot’s of songs out there, so idk. But if you are auditioning for a musical there are 3 main things directors are looking for: Vocals, Choreography, and then Acting. Most auditions for musicals consist first of being able to sing, that not only means ability to just sing well, but clarity and projection are a must as well. Then you need to be able to dance usually, which means being able to pick up on choreographed dance very quickly, so if you have experience here, it’s a huge plus. Lastly, if you score well in the first two categories, they will ask you to do a “cold reading” where you read from the script a part they give you to try out, usually along with another person. Here, you need to be able to project well and pick up quickly on what the character might be feeling. It’s best to just think of something and commit to it. Go big or don’t do it at all. If you can find a copy of the script to study, it will help you a lot with the back story. Hope this helps!
