What is a Good Sam Club “Samboree” all about?
Each year, all the Oregon Good Sam chapters meet once, in June, for the annual Samboree, a camping adventure on a grand scale—all done by volunteers. A multiple day event with an emphasis on fun! No meeting! Meeting new and old friends! There are major events like Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Chapter Recognition Night, Fun Night, Sunday Worship, and a big Saturday Night Show. There are also vendors of special interest to RVers, seminars, crafts and activities/games for the young and young at heart. The Oregon Samboree is unique from many other State Samborees. We put on our entertaining Saturday night show with volunteer talent and have a grand time doing it! We are also noted for our Golden Wed Ceremony where we celebrate Golden Anniversaries with couples from Oregon and all over the nation. We also celebrate 60th, 65th and even 70th Anniversaries and want to do our first 75th Anniversary very soon. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, outgoing group and encourage new campers to
