What is a good restaurant in Sydney in or around the CBD to have a birthday dinner?
I often go to a great restaurant called BenBu which is at 80 Stanley Street, Darlinghurst in Sydney (just of Crown Street). BenBu is a Japanese restaurant in the heart of Little Italy where you can get your meal for between $10 and $16.50 – the portions are large and the food quality is great! Also, it is BYO so you can save even more. They do have soft drink though. There are all sorts of dishes – sushi, sashime, karage, bento boxes, terriyaki, soy beef steak and many dishes I haven’t tried (even tho I go there very often!). When you have a large group, you can request the upstairs area which they will give you to yourself. I have been at dinners there with 12-28 people to give you an idea.
