What is a good resource for e-commerce / advertising laws in Japan?
I fear you will not be able to find an online resource in English that will help you answer that question. There is not much information on Japanese laws in English to be found online anyway and the question you are asking is very specific. It’s also a tough nut to crack as the online business is changing rapidly, and the laws regulating e-commerce and online advertising change in sync, meaning that finding a trustworthy online resource is next to impossible (I tried but found nothing). So I fear you have to contact a bilingual lawyer here in Japan….
