I would say Dell, because they let you customise, and you should be able to get a 15″ for about $900, if that’s any help. The would, of course, have bad specs. It depends on what you nwant to do, because paying hardcore games and typing on word are a lot different when it comes to CPU usage. Basically, I would say MAKE SURE that you have a 2.00GHz DUAL CORE processor, or higher, no matter what you want. This is basically the worst you should go, because it might start to run painfully slow in a few years time, when everything else has 4 quad cores or something ridiculous. Next is the Ram; you should try and get something above 2GB, probably something higher depending on how much you want to do. Battery; 4 cell or higher, because I think each cell adds up to about an hour of usage, again, depending on what you’re doing.
