What is a good peaceful shark to put with 4 angel fish?
If you’re worried about fish that get too big for your tank (“tankbusters”), I would recommend getting a rainbow shark or a red-tailed shark. They each grow to be around 6 inches max and will most likely get along fine with fish around the same size. HOWEVER, if you do decide on one of these sharks, it’s important to keep only one rainbow shark or one red-tailed shark as they can become increasingly territorial and aggressive toward other rainbow and red-tailed sharks. But one with 4 angelfish might work. There is always a chance that the shark can be more aggressive to the angelfish, so keep an eye on your tank to be sure of its temperament. Be sure to have a lot of hiding spaces for your fish, and since rainbows and red-tails have a tendency to jump and flail, make sure you have a hood or that your water level isn’t too high. Hope that helped; best of luck!
