What is a good paintball marker for woodsball?
You can’t do better for woodsball in your price range than a Tippmann 98. They are like the Glocks/AK-47’s of woodsball- reliable, durable, easy to maintain and upgrade. A Spyder is a nice gun but it will not take the abuse that a Tippmann will- you can drop a Tippmann into mud, sand, water, bang it into trees and rocks all day and it will still function. There are also a ton of modifications and upgrades out there, so your gun can change and grow with you. You can run Co2 or HPA, add a Response or E-trigger, you can make it look like an M-16 or AK-47, add red-dot scopes and upgrade the barrel. You can even add on the cyclone feed like the X-7 and A-5 have, so it’s a great platform for newbs and veteran players alike. One of my friends is cheap and refuses to buy a new gun- he has been using his 98 for many, many years now and has never had a single problem with it. He has upgraded it with a Flatline barrel and a few other things, but he has no problem keeping up with my A-5 and other
