Namaste Deena, It is good to see that you care for your friend so much. It is indeed difficult to know if someoe is telling the truth online. I do not know of any websites where you could check if what this man says is actually true. I met my soon-to-be hubby online as well. We talked on the phone many times and also had webcam chat. I have talked to his family as well, and they all know of me and are very nice towards me. I do not know if it is adviseable to ask this man to talk to his son, but you could maybe ask him about his past or so…If you notice that he is saying contradictory things, better stay away from him. my mums neighbourg has almost the same issue: She met a man online as well, and he told her he is a pilot.
