What is a good Objective Statement for a resume after a seven year absence from the work force?
I was in a similar situation and found that the easiest answer was to hire a professional to craft my resume for me. I told her what kind of positions(s) I was looking for and she gave me a different resume (different objectives and slightly different points under each of my previous positions to suit) for each. I paid only one hundred dollars (this was a few years ago) but it was worth much more than that in the long run. Figure out first what you want to do then have a professional help you from there. Professionals deal with job changes, gaps in employment and other such resume rarities much more frequently than we do.
