Speak with your parents, they will be your best ally when it comes to breaking into the modeling world. There are a lot of major agencies in the Miami area as its one of the modeling headquarters of the world! If you are interested in going into fashion modeling, I know elite, who has an agency in Miami, will require you to be a certain height. Check out their webpage for the details. Before you begin your career, you need to have some professional photos taken–a head shot and a body shot. Once you have your first portfolio together, you can send it out to different agencies and see who responds! If someone takes interest, they will want you to come in for a face-to-face meeting where they check out how you look in person, what your skin and hair is like. They may accept you then if they like what they see. Just remember your parents will help you more than anyone, so be sure to get them involved!
