I’m doing custom fortune cookies – they are around $.31-.51/each depending on where you buy them from and how many you get. We are ordering 500 for $120, with 5 custom sayings on them. Our guest list is only 100-150, so each guest will get three, plus we’ll have them available to munch on at the reception. We both love fortune cookies so all the left-overs will not go to waste! 🙂 Other than that: Soap, Wild Flower Seeds, Bird Seed, or a local gift (ie: coastal area DIY sand/shell favors, I’ve seen a pine tree for a Tahoe Wedding, etc). I don’t know you personally, but go with something that expresses who you are. If you met in grade school maybe a little bag with a custom pencil, an eraser and a thing of post-its (all purchased in bulk could be around a dollar per person). Making it personal/memorable is what matters. I’ve seen people get small frames and put wallet sized pics in them, or coasters – both of which bought in bulk were probably about $.50/person. Good Luck!
