Ooooh, you know what I used to love to do after school? I would get a bunch of fruit from my fridge and just make a fruit salad with it and I’d eat it with some toast or have it by itself. Also, granola is good and good for you. Some raw carrots and ranch dressing is also a good snack but if you’re looking for something to hold you until dinner, try carrots with something else. I also would eat a ton of home-made salsa and chips. Especially in the winter, I’d crave the stuff. I saw hummus among the answers. That stuff is amazing, especially when you make it yourself. It’s pretty easy. Paired with some baked, still warm pita bread…yum! Also, I used to make fruit smoothies with protein powder, canned peaches and yogurt. That’s really good too and it definitely will hold you over until dinner time. Just try and find peaches that aren’t in heavy syrup or you could use frozen ones. They add a nice texture to the smoothie. You could use basically any fruit, though.
