What is a good color scheme for a home with dark blue carpet?
I would go with either nice coffee latte or stay with your creams. Don’t know what the splatters are but there are many “cool” whites out there that would really be pretty to with what you have. If you have little light and maybe want to mix with other colors stay with the whites. If not try the browns, very soothing. Accenting in the cool red tones and/or green will go well with the wainscoting. Since the house flows you can adjust to a lighter or darker shade of the same color in a single room, will look fine but also be a bit different for you.
