What is a good bush or shrub to plant in a partially shady area in Atlanta?
Hi: You live in zone seven in Atlanta. There are many shrubs you can plant that will do well in the shade along a fence. I am a landscaper and designer and also live in zone seven. Here are a few suggestions: Azaleas Pieris Japonicas – they do well in shade and have beautiful flowers in late winter and early fall. Hollies Acuba These are just a few. You can make an entire bed along your fence and incorporate many of these along with some Hostas. This would be a great addition to your fence area. I will link you to the gallery of plants section.
