What is a good book for a couple to read together mystery or romance? What do you like?
The best choice depends upon the couple. Choosing a good book is like choosing wallpaper–different strokes. . . Speaking generally, though, choose a book that covers a lot of interests. Most men respond best to stories with male protagonists, EXCEPT in the case of the mysteries by Janet Evanovich, wherein the main character, Stephanie Plum, is of interest to most readers. Her “number” series books combine humor, suspense, mystery and are fairly quick reads (which helps when it’s a group effort). Otherwise, try Harlan Coban’s suspense titles (following his Myron Bolitar mysteries).
