Measure hair fiber strength under different conditions. Take different pieces of your hair and separate into groups. Leave one completely alone as your control. Analyze the hair and say what it looks like. Then cause different havoc on the rest. Such as blow drying one group, lots of washing on the next group, ironing etc. (you know all the stuff girls do to their hair.) After the experiment is over you can remeasure the different hairs under a microscope, and or apply measured pounds of pressure to the hair to see when each group breaks. Look for other things such as color fading, splitting etc.
