WebSamhita Indian language fonts are based on the ASCII character set. Font layout refers to the way Indian langauge characters are mapped to the various positions of ASCII Character set. Depending upon the mappings there can be multiple font layouts. WebSamhita supports two font layouts. They are Shree-Lipi and Suchika. Using Shree-Lipi you can type only in Indian language whereas using Suchika it is possible to type in English as well as any of the Indian language. I.e. Shree-Lipi font layout is monolingual and Suchika layout is Bilingual.
