What is a Font, and how is it different than an Alphabet?
Fonts are what almost every embroidery software offers as part of its built-in Lettering module. While a Font is the same set of characters as explained above, the difference is that those characters are stored in a wireframe format (aka “condensed” or “outline” format). The software understands and can work with this type of file much better.
