What is a flush bid?

0

A flush bid refers to a duty position bid in which all seats and aircraft types are open for reassignment based on seniority. Letter of Agreement 01-013 explicitly prohibits a flush bid as part of the NJA/NJLA/NJI integration, thereby protecting NJI pilots from being displaced from their aircraft and duty positions as a result of the merger. After the Final Integration Notice is sent, an NJI pilot will have the opportunity to bid vacancies based on his or her seniority. Additionally, vacancies in Gulfstream aircraft will be filled by seniority.
