What is a FileX Invitation?
FileX Invitations are for when there is a need for someone to transfer a file to you. Non-SDSURF employees don’t have the capability to logon and upload a file. The Invitation process provides a mechanism that you initiate giving that outside user the ability to upload files directly to you. Invitations by default are intended for a single use, meaning they will expire after the first time they have been used. For invitations requiring a longer time period make sure to select the “Send as an Open Invitation” option. This will allow the invitation to be used for 30 days.
