What is a figure skaters diet?
There isn’t a specific diet for skaters . . . but because skaters (and all athletes) burn up so many calories, they need more calorie intake. Simplistically put, a moderate meal of carbs, proteins and little bit of fat . . . with plenty of fluids is ideal. A variety of foods is essential too – not just for nutitional impact – but so you don’t get bored (wink!).
