What is a fair administration or office property management cost?
Many landlords will charge a property management fee that is equal to about 15% of all the Additional Rent charges. But, the actual rates can fluctuate widely. Property managers have several “profit centers” from which to earn revenue in a building. Including their property management fees they also can collect leasing and project management fees. These earnings are usually interrelated so the presence or absence of one revenue source for a manager can impact the cost of another service in the building for a tenant. Moreover, the fees can vary depending on the size of a building and the number of tenants whose daily requirements need to be managed in the complex.
