What is a Drip System?
Under Stage 4 Water Restrictions the watering of lawns is banned. Only trees and shrubs can be watered and then only by using a drip system (between 7pm and 9pm), buckets and watering cans (at any time). Drip systems are regarded as the most efficient way to water the garden as they deliver slowly dripping water to the base of plants at a low pressure, which makes the water easy to absorb. There are a number of drip systems available, but essentially they comprise a length of poly pipe, to which drippers are attached. The rate of water delivery varies between two and eight litres an hour, compared with a sprinkler system which may use some 1,000 litres over the same period. Another major benefit of drip systems is that very little water is wasted through overspray, wind, evaporation or run-off. RAINWATER TANK REBATES Residents are invited to participate in a water saving initiative offering them a rebate of up to $1,000 for buying and installing a rainwater tank. The Victorian Governme
The drip system has long been touted as one of the most efficient garden irrigation systems. In general, a drip system lets the water seep through the soil to the roots of the plant in a localized fashion. It is the best and most practical way to water garden plants, shrubs, and even trees in most areas. With a drip system, water flows through flexible tubing and delivers water directly where it is needed most — over the roots of a plant. The flow of water can even be adjusted to meet the watering requirements for each kind of plant. The parts that connect the source of the water to the drip system are called the head assembly. The head assembly includes a timer or a manual control valve, a backflow preventer, a filter, and a pressure regulator. Each component has a distinct function to ensure that the drip system works perfectly. The control valves turns the water off and on. For gardeners with a single drip line that is attached to an outdoor faucet, the faucet, itself, is the contro
The “drip” system within the main follow-up system uses consistent and repeated contacts to keep your name in the mind of the prospect. For instance, a prospect inquires about a home and then registers to receive more information. They will then automatically receive e-mail from you at predetermined times. Each of these e-mails is written before-hand and is in place ready to send. In this example, they will receive e-mail #1 on the 4th day after registering on your website then #2 on the 10th day, etc. Your follow-up system does all of the work for you! When a prospect responds to one of these follow-up e-mails, you can then provide the one-on-one assistance with a new client.
