What is a domain transfer, and why would I want to do such a thing?
Transferring a domain can mean a couple of things. For example, You may want to transfer ownership to/from another user (a “registrant” transfer), or you may just want to transfer the management of your domain to our servers (a “registrar” transfer), so that you pay lower registration/renewal prices. So, transferring a domain doesn’t have to be anything to do with who owns it.
