They build websites that don’t distinguish clearly between their function as domain registrar and the other many services they want to sell you. The former Network Solutions used to be better than most, but not anymore. In the ‘old days’–way back in 1995 or so–Network Solutions was the only domain registrar in the US. Now registration is distributed amongrnseveral top-level companies who are also allowed to administerrn’affiliate’ programs.
